Evaporation
SPX plate evaporators have set high standards for rapidly concentrating milk, food, juices, chemicals, pharmaceuticals or any product which must be processed under gentle heating conditions.
SPX plate evaporators are available in four arrangements to concentrate products of varying characteristics and quantities. According to need, these systems employ Rising/Falling film, Falling film, Paravap (rising film) or Forced circulation technology.
Distillation
SPX offers a full range of distillation equipment to suit the customer’s needs. Systems can be either batch or continuous with various options for heat recovery. For heat sensitive products, vacuum distillation is employed.
Typical applications include essence recovery from fruits, aroma recovery from coffee, solvent recovery from extracts and flavors, and alcohol stripping.
